Travis Kay is the owner and Broker-in-Charge of Kay Real Estate Group (KREG), LLC. With over 12 years of experience, he actively brokers both residential and commercial real estate transactions while leading and mentoring a team of dedicated agents. In addition to his brokerage work, Travis is a seasoned real estate investor, bringing a broad expertise in property management, development, and sales.
A Charleston native, Travis grew up in the West Ashley area, where he still resides today. His deep local roots provide him with invaluable insight and connections that benefit every client he serves. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Clemson University in 1992 and his MBA from The Citadel in 2002. Before establishing KREG, Travis held key management positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM, where he honed his financial and business acumen, which now greatly serves his clients. He is also working towards earning the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations.
Travis remains active in the Charleston community, serving as a Board Member for the Salvation Army. He is a member of the South Carolina and National Association of Realtors, the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, and the CTAR Commercial Investment Division. Outside of his professional life, Travis enjoys quality time with his family and staying active through various sports.
